So, surprise! On vacation again...but this time not solo. My pal Christi and I are road tripping to California. We actually left yesterday evening and put in some time trying to escape Texas...in the dark. That was fun.
Today, we finally made it out of this state, and got all the way through New Mexico. However, we made a few stops...not many photos. Except for lunch

We found this little gem tucked away on a side street in Las Cruces, NM.
So, we're in New Mexico, so I felt obligated to have chiles...green chiles. Green chile cheese chicken sandwich and green chile cheese fries. Ouch...but yummy. Great beer too...highly recommended.
We are most of the way through Arizona now, just west of Phoenix. I got to finally see saguaro cactus...yay

I might tell you later about the second try I made, and missed to see my friend Raine here in Phoenix. I think we're cursed.
Gotta get up early to get to Joshua Tree tomorrow...more pics for sure!
